Pack Announces Addition of Scottie Ebube

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State men's basketball head coach Will Wade announced Friday that Scottie Ebube has signed and will join the Wolfpack Basketball Program next season.

2024-25 Redshirt Junior Season (at Wyoming): Played in 23 games … Averaged 5.0 rebounds and 2.7 rebounds per game … Shot 67.6 percent from the field, making 50-of-74 field goal attempts … Scored season-high 22 points at San Jose State on Jan. 25, making 11-of-14 field goal attempts … Had season-high seven rebounds in season-finale against San Jose State.
2023-24 Redshirt Sophomore Season (at Southern Illinois): Appeared in 31 games, making one start … Averaged 6.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game … Shot 69.0 precent from the field, making 80-of-116 field goal attempts … Ranked second on the team with 19 blocks … Scored in double figures in eight games … Scored season-high 15 points against Queens (N.C.) on Nov. 10 … Had 13 points and season-high tying eight rebounds against North Dakota State on Dec. 19 … Had season-high 3 blocks against Southern Indiana on Dec. 22 … Scored 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting and added eight rebounds vs. Belmont on Jan. 2.
2022-23 Redshirt Freshman Season (at Southern Illinois): Played in 12 games ... Averaged 3.2 points, 1.8 rebounds 0.3 blocks per game ... Scored a season-high nine points to go along with six rebounds in the season opener against Little Rock ... Had seven points in a win over Illinois State ... Scored eight points in just over five minutes in a win over UIC at home ... Shot 62.5 percent (15-24) from the floor.
2021-22 Freshman Season (at Southern Illinois): Redshirted.
Prep: Two-time All-State selection and three-time All-Area selection at Mundelein High School … As a senior, led Mundelein to 13-2 record as Mundelein won the North Suburban Conference for the first time since 1994 … Helped lead Mundelein to a 30-4 record as a junior … Had a double-double (14 points/12 rebounds) in win over Class 3A No. 1 Niles Notre Dame … MVP of the Carbondale Holiday Tournament as a sophomore after scoring 27 points and pulling down 15 rebounds in the championship game.
Wade on Ebube: "I'm excited to add Scottie to our roster. He's got great physical presence, has excellent finishing ability at the rim and is an elite offensive rebounder. He's shot over 60 percent from the field in all three of his seasons at the college level, and I'm looking forward to having him in an NC State uniform."
