Four Wrestlers Named to 2024-25 All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Four members of the NC State wrestling team were named to the All-ACC Academic Team for their academic and athletic excellence for the 2024-25 school year and competition season.
This marks the ninth year in a row that at least four or more members of the Pack were listed on the conference academic team under head coach Pat Popolizio. 43 total student-athletes across seven schools were listed on the 2024-25 All-ACC Academic Team for wrestling this season.
Derek Fields, Dylan Fishback, Kai Orine, and Isaac Trumble each qualified for the 2025 NCAA Championships in Philadelphia this past March. Graduating student-athlete Fields tallied the third All-ACC Academic honor of his career.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's matches on the season.
