INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Eighth-ranked NC State men's tennis (20-6, 12-1) earns the No. 9 seed and is set to host a regional of the 2025 NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament, as announced by the NCAA Monday evening.
The Wolfpack is scheduled to face South Carolina State Saturday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.W.Isenhour Tennis Center in Raleigh, N.C. A first-round win will allow NC State to see either UNCW or Georgia in the second round on Saturday, May 4.
This draw marks the seventh consecutive time for the Pack to hold a spot in the NCAA Tournament, also seeing national postseason action each season under head coach Kyle Spencer (2020 NCAA Championships were canceled). With earning the No. 9 seed, NC State has now earned hosting privileges three times in Spencer's tenure.
Sixteen teams will advance out of their regional to Super Regionals, hosted at campus sites, May 9-11. After the round of 16, all rounds will be held at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas May 16-18.
