Pack Announces Addition of Quadir Copeland

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State men's basketball head coach Will Wade announced Monday that Quadir Copeland has signed and will join the Wolfpack Basketball Program next season.

2024-25 Junior Season (at McNeese): Appeared in 32 games, making 24 starts … Averaged 9.5 points, 4.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game … Led team in assists and was second in steals … 2025 All-Southland Conference Second Team … 2025 Southland Conference All-Tournament Team … 147 assists on the season were ninth-most in single season in program history … Had three point-assist double-doubles on the season … Scored in double figures in 18 games, including two games over 20 points … Scored season-high 21 points at UTRGV on Jan. 25 … Had season-high 11 assists vs. LeTourneau on Dec. 7 and at Northwestern State on Jan. 6.
2023-24 Sophomore Season (at Syracuse): Appeared in 32 games, making 1 start … Averaged 9.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game … Second on the team in assists and third in steals … Ranked ninth in the ACC in steals … Scored in double figures in 15 games, including two games over 20 points … Posted double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds vs. New Hampshire on Nov. 6 … Scored season-high 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting at NC State on Feb. 20 … Named ACC Player of the Week on Jan. 2 after scoring 22 points, grabbing a team-high nine rebounds and added four assists and three steals in a win over Pitt.

High School: Spent final scholastic year at IMG Academy (Fla.) and played for the post-graduate team ... Played 2020-21 season at Life Center Academy (N.J.) … Played first two years of high school at Gettysburg High School … Went 23-5 in 2019-20 and helped Warriors win the York-Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association title … Received Class 5A All-State honors … Gettysburg won the Warrior Athletic Booster Club Tournament and Copeland was named tournament most valuable player ... Tallied a season-high 38 points in a 74-62 victory at Susquehanna … Warriors finished 13-12 in 2018-19 in his freshman season.
