Fons Van Sambeek Named ACC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Pack men's tennis player Fons Van Sambeek has been named the ACC Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, March 18.
Senior captain, Fons Van Sambeek earns ACC Player of the Week after going undefeated in both doubles and singles action against No. 32 Florida State and No. 34 Miami over the weekend.
The most notable win over the weekend comes from him and his doubles partner, Braden Shick, defeating the No. 3 doubles pair in the country - Alex Bulte and Youcef Rihane from Florida State.
