Wolfpack Wrestling Signs Local Product Xavier Wilson

RALEIGH – Local product, Xavier Wilson, has signed to join NC State wrestling in the fall as announced by head coach Pat Popolizio on Thursday.
The Greensboro, N.C. native is a two-time NHSCA All-American (2023 and 2024) and a 2024 3A North Carolina state champion in the 215 pound weight class at Eastern Guilford High School.
Wilson is currently listed as No. 6 on NC United's College Prospect rankings. Ahead of competing at the 2024 NHSCA High School Nationals tournament in Virginia Beach his junior year, he was seeded 10th at 220 lbs in the junior class for his bracket by FloWrestling.
