Knight Earns Second ACC Weekly Honor of 2025 Season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sophomore Ashley Knight has been named the ACC Specialist of the Week for the second time this season following an outstanding performance in NC State's dual meet against Pitt last Saturday at Reynolds Coliseum.
Knight anchored the vault lineup and delivered a stuck landing for a 9.900, securing the event title and recording NC State's highest vault score of the meet. This marks her second consecutive vault victory. She also competed on beam, earning a season-high 9.700.
She capped off the evening with a dynamic floor routine that energized the Reynolds Coliseum crowd, scoring a 9.900 to win the event and lead NC State in floor scoring. The honor comes just one week after she posted a career-high 9.925 on floor against Cal, where she finished second, and earned a 9.900 on vault to claim the event title.
