KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the first time since 2005, NC State men's soccer players have earned All-America honors, with defender Nikola Markovic and forward Donavan Phillip on the First Team and goalkeeper Logan Erb on the Second Team.
Sophomore defender Nikola Markovic and junior forward Donavan Phillip are each named to the First Team All-American list, the first members of the Pack to earn First Team honors since Scott Schweitzer in 1992. The last time any NC State men's player claimed All-America honors was Aaron King on the Second Team in 2005.
Phillip is second in the country in total goals with 17, and Erb is second in the country with his goals against average percentage of 0.445. Together as part of the back five, Erb and Markovic have ensured 15 shutouts in 21 total games played this season, the most in the entire NCAA.
