NC State Baseball Announces 2025 Baseball Schedule

RALEIGH, N.C. – After a remarkable season culminating with a College World Series appearance last season, NC State baseball head coach Elliott Avent announced the program's 2025 schedule Tuesday afternoon. The 54-game schedule includes 33 contests at Doak Field at Dail Park, highlighted by 16 home contests in the team's first 20 matchups of the season.
Opening Day for the Wolfpack's 2025 season is set for Feb. 14, when NC State welcomes Fordham for a three-game series at The Doak. NC State then hosts Liberty for the first midweek of the season before traveling to Jacksonville, Fla., to participate in the Jacksonville Classic Feb. 21-23, where they will take on Ohio State, Alabama, and Coastal Carolina.
After returning home from Florida, the Wolfpack will play Richmond (Feb. 25) and host Canisius (Feb. 28 – Mar. 2). After a quick trip to Greensboro to take on UNCG on March 4th, the Wolfpack will have an eight-game home stand beginning with Campbell (Mar. 5), Wright State (Mar. 7-9), NC A&T (Mar. 11). The homestand will conclude with the Wolfpack opening ACC play against Virginia Tech (Mar.14-16)
The Wolfpack travels to Kannapolis on Tuesday, March 18th, in a rematch of a 2023 meeting with Davidson. NC State's first ACC road series sends the Wolfpack to Pittsburgh for a three-game set at Pitt (Mar. 28-30). The Pack returns to Doak Field for a midweek matchup against USC Upstate (March 25) before heading down Tobacco Road and taking on Duke (March 28-30).
April begins with four straight home games, starting with UNCG (Apr.1) and then Virginia coming to Raleigh (Apr. 4-6). On Tuesday, April 8th, NC State will face ECU in Greenville before welcoming Louisville for a conference three-game set (Apr. 11-13).
Having only met once in program history, the Wolfpack will travel to the West Coast and take on new ACC member California for a series from Thursday, April 17th, through Saturday, April 19th.
To close out the month of April, it's the Wolfpack playing hosts to ECU (Apr. 22), Clemson (Apr.24-25), and UNCW (Apr. 29).
Seven straight road games open in the final month of the regular season. The Pack will take on Miami (May 2-4), rematch UNCW in a midweek clash on May 6th, and take on rival UNC in Chapel Hill (May 9-11).
The final weekend of the regular season will be played at the Doak against Stanford, beginning on Thursday, May 15, at 6 p.m. and concluding with senior day on Saturday, May 17, at 1 p.m.
The 2025 ACC Tournament will be held in Durham, N.C., as the Durham Bulls Athletic Park hosts the conference championship. The tournament begins on May 20 and spans to May 25.
