Volleyball Sweeps William & Mary

ATHENS, Ohio – The NC State volleyball team swept William & Mary in its first match of the Bobcat Invitational. The team hit .400 to set a new season high for hitting percentage.
The Tribe took an early lead in all three sets, but the Pack managed to gain a lead each time. In set two, William & Mary managed to tie the Wolfpack on seven different occasions, but their efforts were not enough as NC State took the set 27-25.
Sophomore Ava Brizard led the Pack with 13 kills, while Jada Allen totaled four blocks to lead on the defensive side.
Senior libero Skye Stokes totaled 10 digs and two service aces in her time on the court. Fifth year setter Kristen McDaniel tallied 21 assists and senior Naomi Cabello added 19.
The Pack return to the Convocation Center to take on host Ohio tonight at 6pm. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
