Men’s tennis wrap up competition at ITA All-American Championships

RALEIGH, NC – Members of the NC State tennis team picked up four ranked wins during the ITA All American championships in Tulsa, OK.
Robin Catry, Braden Shick and Luca Staeheli participated in singles and doubles action at the ITA fall premier event.
Shick, a junior from Greensboro, had to withdraw early from the event due to an injury.
In his lone match of the event Shick defeated No. 71 Robert Cash (Ohio State), 7 (7)-6 (4), 6-4.
On the opening day, Catry (No. 100, ITA) defeated Louis Bowden of Baylor, 6-3, 6-4. Bowden came into the event as the No. 9 ranked freshman/newcomer in the country.
Catry earned two ranked wins on day two, defeating No. 65 Alejandro Moreno (Auburn) and No. 91 Dzianis Zharyn (Washington).
Catry and Staeheli, No. 5 in the ITA doubles rankings, picked up the final ranked victory on day two.
