
Wolfpack Posts Podium Finishes, Breaks Records at Pair of Meets

ATHENS, Ga. and PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The NC State track & field teams concluded action at a pair of meets on Saturday, totaling six podium finishes, a broken conference record and a broke school record.
DISTANCE
Sam Bush, Savannah Shaw, Katelyn Tuohy and Anna Vess represented the Pack in the 4x1500m at Penn Relays. The squad ran a 16:55.19 to take second place.
The relay squad's time set new ACC and school records, defeating the previous conference record by 25 seconds and the prior school record by nearly a minute.
In addition to conference and school records, the mark ranks as the second-fastest in collegiate history.
JUMPS
Jamar Davis took third place in the men's triple jump with a leap of 14.99m (49' 2.25").
SPRINTS
Jada Griffin sprinted her way to a first-place finish and the second-fastest time in program history in the women's 400m at the Torrin Lawrence Memorial, registering a 53.00. On the men's side, Chris Jenkins posted a PR of 48.69.
The men's 110m hurdles saw Cameron Murray and Joshua Brockman take the top two spots on the podium. Murray placed first with s 13.79 while Brockman finished second in 13.98.
McKenzie Long tabbed a second-place finish in the women's 100m, tabbing an 11.68.
The men's section of the 100m saw Alan Alvarez set a personal-best mark of 10.45.
