SURPRISE, Ariz. - NC State men's tennis seniors Ivan Saveljic and Igor Saveljic saw their time at the ITA National Fall Championships come to a close as they fell in the doubles Round of 16 Thursday evening.
The 15th-ranked duo matched up against California's Yuta Kikuchi and Jacob Brumm in the second round of the national tournament. The first set went to a tiebreaker, which the Golden Bears won 7-2. Kikuchi and Brumm went on to take the second set 6-3 to advance.Â
The Wolfpack will turn its attention to the 2019 dual match season. Stay tuned for the full 2019 spring schedule, which will be released at a later date.Â
