RALEIGH, N.C. - The No. 34 NC State men's tennis team earned a 4-3 win over Clemson Saturday afternoon to extend its winning streak to four matches. The Pack defeated Clemson in doubles before taking three singles victories for the win.

NC State improves to 15-10 (3-4 ACC), while Clemson falls to 11-11 (1-5 ACC).

No 44 Simon Norenius clinched the hard-earned victory for the Pack with a three-set win, 6-4, 2-6, 6-2.

Match Recap:
For the third time in as many matches, the Wolfpack clinched the doubles point. Clemson took the first doubles match with a 6-4 win on court one, but the Pack's No. 2 and No. 3 doubles teams rallied for the win. Nick Horton and Shoti Meparidze won 6-3 on court two and Ivan and Igor Saveljic captured the point with a 7-5 win on court three.

In singles play, The Pack earned wins from its depth, while the team's captains dropped tough matchups.

Clemson leveled the score as Daffra Sanon upset No. 85 Thomas Weigel on court two. NC State answered right back with a win at No. 4 singles, as Igor Saveljic beat Robert Dudley, 6-1, 6-4.

Clemson then stretched out to a 3-2 lead, taking matches on courts three and six. No. 77 Horton was upset by Luke Johnson and Meparidze fell to Christian Harris.

In two must-wins matches, the Pack rallied, as Ivan Saveljic defeated Austin Ansari, 7-6, 6-3 on court three. With the match tied at three, Norenius headed to the third set and handled Clemson's No. 1 Alex Favrot to clinch the match.
