DURHAM - Anthony 'Cat' Barber scored 26 points and Abdul-Malik Abu grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds but Duke held on to beat NC Sate 88-80 on Saturday.Â
Barber scored 17 of his points in the second half and finished the day with 8-for-14 shooting. He made three 3-pointers and seven of his eight free throws. Barber also dished out six assists, including three to Abu that went for dunks. Abu finished the day with 16 points and 12 rebounds, posting his 11th double-double of the season.
Duke (17-6, 6-4) was led by Grayson Allen (28 points) and Luke Kennard (26 points).

Top Gun: Maverick Rowan had one of his better games in league play, totaling 17 points on 6-for-13 shooting and 4-for-8 from 3-point range. As a team, the Pack shot 7-for-14 from beyond the arc. Duke also shot 50 percent (14-for-28) from 3-point range.
Leading In The Second Half: A trey by Barber and a dunk by Abu gave the Pack a 50-49 lead with 16:28 left in the game. Duke's Kennard quickly answered with a 3-pointer on the other end, but Abu dunked again to tie the game 52-52. Duke then answered against with a pair of 3-pointers to regain the lead.

Board Work: Led by Abu, NC State controlled the glass. NC State pulled in 13 offensive rebounds to Duke's six and had a 38-29 advantage in rebounding.
NC State (12-12, 2-9) has a week until its next game. The Pack plays Wake Forest at home Saturday, Feb. 13 at noon.Â
