CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -
No. 56 NC State grabbed four wins in singles play to down Boston College, 4-3, in its regular season finale on Sunday, April 17.
The win moves the Wolfpack to 10-13 (2-9 ACC), while the Eagles fall to 6-17 (0-11 ACC).
BC grabbed the doubles point to begin play, but the Pack roared back to take control in singles. Dominic Hodgson topped Alex Skinner, 6-3, 6-1, while Ivan Sanchez Gomez bested Erik Kruetzer, 7-6(4), 6-3. Rafael Paez took down Billy Grokenberger, 6-2, 6-3 and Dave Thomson defeated Michael McGinnis, 6-3, 6-3.
NC State will return to action at the ACC Championships, April 21-24, at Cary Tennis Park in nearby Cary, N.C.
