Wilmington, N.C. - Sophomore forward Isreal Mejia scored a pair of goals, including the game winner with less than three minutes remaining, to power NC State over host UNC Wilmington 2-1 Wednesday night.
With the score tied 1-1, freshman Justin Branch stole the ball near the penalty area and the UNCW keeper came out to make a play. Branch beat the goalie for the ball, and crossed the ball on the ground in front of the empty net. Mejia came sliding in, netting the game winner.
